What you will do

• Administer and maintain a fleet of on-premise Linux servers and Windows VMs to ensure reliable operation of the quantum computing environment.
• Design and implement automated workflows for managing and scaling both cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Build and optimize monitoring, alerting, and performance metrics systems for development and production.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment efficiency.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience maintaining large scale distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in cloud deployment using Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (Proxmox VE, Docker, Podman).
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience building and scaling a developer operations team and implementing IaC practices.
• Experience managing and optimizing databases in cloud or on-site environments.
• Familiarity with security best practices and network configuration (physical and virtual).
• Experience interfacing with and controlling hardware devices like cameras, motors, and lasers.
