What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of system components, ensuring quality, timelines, and release readiness.
• Lead the design and implementation of complex services, balancing scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into clear technical work and accurate execution plans.
• Set high bars for code quality through rigorous reviews and establishing development standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion the adoption of AI-assisted coding tools and productivity agents.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to align delivery with business goals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record as a Technical Lead or Development Team Leader.
• Expert knowledge of Java and Spring ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and GraphQL APIs (must have).
• Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka) and both relational and NoSQL databases.
• English: B2+ level required.
• Location: Must be based in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Georgia, or Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Exposure to agentic systems.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
