What you will do

• Architect, administer, and optimize Tableau Cloud for performance, security, and scalability.
• Define and enforce enterprise reporting standards, governance, and design best practices.
• Build interactive dashboards and executive reporting based on exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and business logic.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to optimize SQL queries, data models, and semantic layers.
• Lead the modernization effort and migration from QlikView to Tableau.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Reporting.
• Deep expertise in Tableau architecture and Cloud administration.
• Advanced SQL skills within multi-database environments.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, lakehouse architecture, and data modeling.
• Experience building performance-optimized datasets and semantic layers.
• Must be located in or able to work from Scottsdale, AZ, USA

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau APIs and embedding dashboards into applications.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Python proficiency for analytics, automation, or system integration.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and privacy frameworks.
• Previous experience with QlikView to Tableau migrations.
