TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Fintech): Driving customer acquisition and revenue growth for the China market with an accent on proactive prospecting and lead generation. Focus on identifying key decision-makers within large retail enterprises and conducting discovery conversations with Finance, eCommerce, and Payments executives.

Location: Must be based in Shanghai, China (Hybrid role)

What you will do

  • Source qualified opportunities through proactive outreach to assigned accounts.
  • Strategize cross-functionally with sales, channel, and marketing teams on prospecting plans.
  • Research accounts to identify key players and uncover business problems in large retail enterprises.
  • Deliver compelling messages to generate interest from potential clients.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations with Finance, eCommerce, and Payments executives.
  • Articulate hirify.global's value proposition to address specific customer needs.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Shanghai and able to work from the office at least 2 days per week.
  • 12+ months of business experience in a sales environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mandarin language skills are highly beneficial for client outreach in the GCR region.
  • Solid technical aptitude and interest in e-commerce solutions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and thrive toward monthly and quarterly quotas.

Nice to have

  • Experience with sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
