• Embed AI into how the team works, leveraging it to enhance engineering practices.
• Help strong engineers become exceptional.

• Led engineers and improved their performance.
• Built real systems at scale and understand the trade-offs involved.
• Still hands-on and want to stay that way, thinking in systems rather than just services.
• Use process when it helps and ignore it when it doesn’t, taking ownership beyond your scope.
