What you will do
- Define the robotics inspection strategy and translate it into a multi-quarter technical and product roadmap.
- Architect the end-to-end robotics stack, covering sensing, perception, manipulation, navigation, and control.
- Develop hands-on prototypes, moving from conceptual whiteboards to working hardware demos.
- Create and benchmark core perception and policy models using proprietary vehicle inspection data.
- Hire, lead, and develop the robotics team, maintaining technical oversight through design and code reviews.
- Manage technical and commercial relationships with hardware platforms, partners, and vendors.
Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience in robotics or applied AI.
- 3+ years of experience leading and growing technical teams.
- Proven track record of shipping robotics or robotic-perception products from concept to production.
- Strong technical depth in at least two of: computer vision, deep learning, manipulation, motion planning, SLAM, or robot learning.
- Experience selecting and integrating robotic hardware platforms, sensors, and compute.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for aligning executives and external partners.
Nice to have
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with simulation and large-scale real-world data collection pipelines.
