Strategy & Business Development Associate (DeFi)

Location: New York or London, England; hybrid work.

Salary: $135,000–$170,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives across the ecosystem and products.
• Work with leadership to identify and evaluate market opportunities and expansion strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with product, engineering, legal, marketing, and ecosystem teams.
• Assist with strategic partnerships across DeFi, fintech, infrastructure, and institutional ecosystems.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, ecosystem mapping, and strategic planning.
• Support outreach coordination, pipeline management, partner tracking, stakeholder communication, and preparation of strategic materials.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in strategy, business development or partnerships, and digital assets.
• Strong understanding of crypto, DeFi, and the evolving digital asset ecosystem.
• Intellectual curiosity and genuine passion for decentralized finance and emerging financial infrastructure.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously and manage multiple workstreams in fast-moving environments.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High-agency mindset, willingness to take ownership, and ability to drive initiatives forward.
• Ability to contribute as a collaborative team player in a globally distributed environment.
