Salary: $200,000 – $400,000 + Equity + Bonus

What you will do

• Own the reliability and scalability of production systems handling social data and real-time AI workloads.
• Define and drive SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets, and build supporting observability and alerting.
• Lead incident response and blameless postmortems to implement systemic improvements.
• Improve performance, cost efficiency, and capacity planning across cloud infrastructure.
• Harden infrastructure-as-code, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines for resilience.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed reliability into system design across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineer.
• Experience scaling databases and complex production platforms under significant load.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Strong programming skills for building automation and operational services.
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving startup environments with high autonomy.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Palo Alto.

Nice to have

• Experience maturing an SRE practice at an early-stage or rapidly scaling company.
• Familiarity with Pulumi, Postgres, ClickHouse, Turbopuffer, or Temporal.
• Background in capacity planning or performance engineering at scale.
