Location: Must be based in the United States (Hybrid options available in San Francisco and Menlo Park, CA).

Compensation: $160,000 – $255,000 + Equity.

What you will do

• Design and improve infrastructure powering patient care, clinician operations, and internal tooling.
• Enhance reliability across distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, and observability platforms.
• Strengthen security posture through access controls, secrets management, and identity workflows.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Automate manual operational processes through scripting and platform improvements.
• Partner with engineering teams to define reliability standards and support incident response.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in SRE, platform, infrastructure, or security engineering.
• Proven track record of leading high-impact infrastructure projects end-to-end.
• Deep experience building and operating production systems in AWS or GCP.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Experience automating workflows with Python, Bash, or TypeScript.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across application and infrastructure layers.

Nice to have

• Experience in health tech, logistics, or fintech environments.
• Background in mid- or growth-stage startups.
• Experience mentoring engineers and establishing reliability standards.
• Knowledge of regulated environments and privacy/compliance best practices.
