Location: Must be based in the United States (Hybrid options available in San Francisco and Menlo Park, CA).
Compensation: $160,000 – $255,000 + Equity.

What you will do
- Design and improve infrastructure powering patient care, clinician operations, and internal tooling.
- Enhance reliability across distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, and observability platforms.
- Strengthen security posture through access controls, secrets management, and identity workflows.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Automate manual operational processes through scripting and platform improvements.
- Partner with engineering teams to define reliability standards and support incident response.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in SRE, platform, infrastructure, or security engineering.
- Proven track record of leading high-impact infrastructure projects end-to-end.
- Deep experience building and operating production systems in AWS or GCP.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Experience automating workflows with Python, Bash, or TypeScript.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across application and infrastructure layers.
Nice to have
- Experience in health tech, logistics, or fintech environments.
- Background in mid- or growth-stage startups.
- Experience mentoring engineers and establishing reliability standards.
- Knowledge of regulated environments and privacy/compliance best practices.
