What you will do

• Set the vision and roadmap for the platform to support increasingly complex AI research.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC, networking, environment management, and observability.
• Design and implement security controls to protect frontier AI model assets.
• Ensure the reliability and uptime of internal services and tooling.
• Develop secure, reliable, and maintainable infrastructure for agentic AI tooling.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering.
• Strong expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP in multi-account/multi-project setups.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar) and Docker.
• Experience designing and owning infrastructure for growing engineering teams.
• Ability to build systems using Python, Rust, or Go.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Exposure to agentic AI workflows or platforms supporting AI/ML workflows.
• Familiarity with GPU workloads, ML training infrastructure, or research compute.
• Demonstrated interest in AI safety through research or professional experience.
