Salary: $405,000 - $485,000 USD

What you will do
- Lead and grow a team of engineers, overseeing hiring, performance, and technical culture.
- Set technical direction and manage the roadmap across prototyping, enterprise hardening, and platform investments.
- Partner with research teams to identify and productize model capabilities and identify critical capability gaps.
- Engage directly with customers and the security community to translate insights into product bets.
- Make high-level architectural decisions regarding agentic scanning pipelines, model orchestration, and data infrastructure.
- Coordinate with GTM and partnerships to land joint launches and ecosystem integrations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience and 4+ years managing engineers.
- Proven track record of shipping cybersecurity products (e.g., SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, appsec) in production.
- Experience taking a team from prototype through first paying customers to scaled enterprise deployment.
- Strong hands-on technical skills, comfortable with design reviews and code.
- Bachelorβs degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Must be able to work from San Francisco or New York City.
Nice to have
- Expertise in penetration testing, reverse engineering, or detection engineering.
- Experience building products based on LLMs, including agentic systems and model iteration loops.
- Experience working in strict data-handling environments (BYOC, CMEK, regulated industries).
- Background in both startup and enterprise-scale companies.
