Salary: $240,000 - $270,000 + bonus

What you will do

• Lead and scale the engineering organization, establishing career paths and improving overall performance.
• Guide system design and architecture across Ruby on Rails, React, and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
• Integrate AI and agentic capabilities into the software development lifecycle to accelerate shipping velocity.
• Ensure operational excellence, world-class reliability, and predictable high-quality execution.
• Collaborate with the CPTO and SVP of Product to align technical strategy with product vision.
• Manage the department's fiscal health, including headcount and infrastructure budgets.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience managing engineering managers and teams of 30-60 engineers.
• Deep technical credibility in architecture and system design for web, mobile, and cloud environments.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, native iOS/Android, and AWS or GCP.
• Track record of evolving developer workflows using automation and AI agents.
• Must be based in one of the approved US states (AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI).
• Strong asynchronous communication and documentation skills.
