What you will do

• Evaluate complex, judgmental, and non-routine transactions and document accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP.
• Partner with Controllership, Tax, Legal, FP&A, and Infrastructure teams to assess implications of new products and strategic transactions.
• Translate technical accounting conclusions into operational guidance, including journal entries and close procedures.
• Lead the preparation of technical accounting memoranda and position papers for management and auditors.
• Maintain and enhance the technical accounting framework, including policies and interpretive guidance.
• Design and implement scalable processes to support organizational growth and evolving business activities.

Requirements

• CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in technology company environments.
• Prior experience in a public accounting firm at a manager or senior manager level.
• Strong foundation in US GAAP, with expertise in financial instruments, consolidation, and lease accounting.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco, CA.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-velocity, cross-functional teams on impactful projects.
