Head of Consolidations & Intercompany (AI): Designing and scaling the group-level consolidation program and intercompany framework for a rapidly growing AI research company with an accent on multi-entity, multi-currency financial operations. Focus on building scalable allocation models, streamlining intercompany transaction flows, and partnering with tax and treasury to optimize corporate structure.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: 25% in-office required)

Salary: $300,000 - $360,000 USD

What you will do

  • Design and execute the multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation process in Workday.
  • Architect a group-level intercompany framework including elimination logic and transaction-flow documentation.
  • Implement a scalable allocation model across the organization.
  • Partner with tax and legal to advise on corporate structure and transfer-pricing operationalization.
  • Redesign and automate cost-allocation processes and streamline intercompany operations.
  • Build and lead a high-performing consolidation and intercompany team.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to commute to San Francisco, CA.
  • Proven experience with end-to-end ownership of multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation at scale.
  • Demonstrated track record of building intercompany frameworks from scratch.
  • Ability to operate as a player-coach, documenting SOPs while scaling operations.
  • Strong experience in ERP design and financial systems.

Nice to have

  • Workday Financial Consolidation experience.
  • Substantive partnership experience with tax on transfer pricing and treasury on FX policy.
  • Experience integrating acquired entities into a group framework.
