What you will do

• Provide quality engineering leadership for Fiber Extrusion, managing daily rejections and nonconforming material disposition.
• Ensure strict compliance with industry standards including ISO 9001, TL 9000, and UL requirements.
• Lead customer complaint investigations and root cause analysis using 8D methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction, process optimization, and SPC effectiveness.
• Conduct PFMEAs for new and existing products to support successful manufacturing launches.
• Manage, train, and oversee Quality Auditors, Engineers, and Technicians to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Strong knowledge of CAPA systems, gauging methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Must be able to work on-site in East Syracuse, NY.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software.
