Senior Quality Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead associates in performing quality testing and reporting accurate data.
• Investigate and evaluate returned products and coordinate corrective actions.
• Interact with suppliers and customers regarding audits, certifications, and material concerns.
• Interpret engineering and industry specifications to ensure proper product testing.
• Support continuous improvement projects, 6S events, and layered process audits.
• Serve as an internal auditor for Willimantic and other North American facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with wire, cable, fiber optic, nuclear, or flame testing.
• Proficiency in data analysis and database computer programs.
• Ability to use various laboratory testing tools.
• Associate degree minimum (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in Quality systems auditing.
• Experience in the Wire and Cable industry.
