What you will do

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of precision-machined components and electro-mechanical systems.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and quality standards using precision measurement equipment.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) for new suppliers and New Product Introductions (NPI).
• Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to investigate defects and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to inspectors and manufacturing personnel.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and traceability documentation within SAP.

Requirements

• Must be a local candidate (relocation not provided).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 years of quality inspection experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience inspecting tight-tolerance machined components and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Strong proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Proficiency with precision measurement equipment and dimensional metrology.

Nice to have

• Associate's Degree in Manufacturing or Engineering Technology.
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT).
• Experience with CMM operation and programming.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Experience in semiconductor capital equipment or aerospace industries.
