What you will do

• Monitor and manage delinquent accounts, documenting all collection activity and payment arrangements.
• Communicate with customers to resolve past-due loans and negotiate repayment solutions to reduce delinquency.
• Research account discrepancies and analyze loan documents to resolve posting errors.
• Recommend escalation actions, including repossession or foreclosure, based on bank policies and risk guidelines.
• Prepare collections reports and ensure strict compliance with BSA/AML and federal/state banking regulations.

Requirements

• Associate degree in business, finance, or related field preferred, or 3+ years of collections and banking experience.
• Experience with consumer, commercial, or mortgage loans.
• Strong knowledge of collections processes, loan servicing, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and banking systems.
• Must be based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
