What you will do

• Define and evolve core design system foundations, including components, patterns, and tokens.
• Design, prototype, and ship production-ready system components in collaboration with frontend engineering.
• Partner with platform engineers to ensure system decisions translate into high-quality, performant code.
• Establish contribution, governance, and deprecation models to balance velocity with system integrity.
• Embed accessibility, responsiveness, and performance standards into the system by default.
• Advocate for system adoption and consistency across product planning and design reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product design with significant ownership of design systems.
• Strong background in brand or visual design.
• Deep understanding of component architecture, design tokens, and system scaling.
• Proven experience partnering with frontend engineers to ship production systems.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Ability to articulate system decisions and tradeoffs to cross-functional partners.
