What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve scalable design engineering solutions that improve product quality and user experience.
• Maintain and evolve the design and development of hirify.global’s new cross-platform design system.
• Define long-term tooling, documentation standards, and contribution models.
• Implement responsive and accessible UI components using modern frontend technologies.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to evolve product vision, design systems, and internal design collaboration process.
• Create and maintain processes, tools, and reusable code patterns that enable efficient designer–engineer collaboration within the design system.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a design engineering role or similar, with a strong portfolio showcasing design and development projects.
• Proficiency in Figma and experience or curiosity in exploring emerging AI design tools.
• Excellent frontend skills with modern approaches (React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, core/vanilla CSS) and a strong foundation in prototyping and implementation.
• Familiarity with ShadCN and Radix for building reusable UI components.
• A high level of visual design skill and strong understanding of UX and UI principles.
• Strong organizational skills and a love for documentation.

Nice to have

• Worked in startup environments where you were involved in the establishment of design systems.
• Knowledge of accessibility development practices.
• Working with telemetry to inform design and development decisions.
• Leveraging AI in your day-to-day workflow.
