What you will do

• Facilitate requirements discovery workshops and translate them into solution scopes, delivery approaches, and success metrics.
• Develop high-quality project artefacts, including BRD/FRD, implementation plans, migration approaches, and test strategies.
• Review vendor solution designs and build plans to ensure alignment with security, network, and cloud standards.
• Define ITSM governance, policies, and ITIL process designs for Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
• Design and configure ITSM workflows, SLA frameworks, and operational reporting dashboards using platforms like BMC.
• Drive stakeholder adoption and ensure effective knowledge transfer for successful BAU handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• ITIL 4 Managing Professional certification is compulsory for the ITSM Consultant role.
• Experience in requirements discovery, gap analysis, and creating technical project documentation (BRD/FRD).
• Architecture literacy in hybrid cloud, network segmentation, security controls, and identity models.
• Proven experience with ITSM platforms such as BMC.
• Must be based in or able to work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
• Azure, AWS, or Cisco certifications.
• COBIT certification for governance alignment.
