What you will do

  • Own end-to-end CRM strategy, from automated journey design to execution.
  • Build and scale multi-channel lifecycle programs across SMS, WhatsApp, push, and in-app messaging.
  • Design behavioral trigger-based upsell systems to drive product adoption and revenue.
  • Run rigorous A/B experiments to optimize messaging, timing, and incentives.
  • Analyze retention cohorts and LTV to translate data insights into actionable growth initiatives.
  • Document and scale successful playbooks across five African markets.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing, ideally in high-frequency engagement models (MVNO, super-apps, mobile gaming, or fintech).
  • Proven track record of building CRM systems from scratch or leading platform migrations.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Braze, CleverTap, MoEngage, or similar.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in LTV, cohort retention, and renewal optimization.
  • Ability to design experiments with clear hypotheses and statistical rigor.
  • Must be based within UTC -1 to UTC +3 time zones.

  • Experience in high-frequency subscription businesses.
  • Background in scaling growth initiatives across diverse international markets.
