What you will do

• Lead backend architecture for embedded experiences and enterprise integrations.
• Design and build scalable APIs and services supporting AI-powered workflows.
• Partner with customers to translate workflow insights into extensible product features.
• Drive technical decisions in a high-autonomy environment.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams on cohesive experiences.
• Mentor engineers and elevate code quality and system design standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in backend or backend-leaning fullstack development.
• Proven track record of building scalable, production-grade systems in SaaS environments.
• Experience with distributed or latency-sensitive applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with customers.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, exploratory problem spaces.

Nice to have

• Experience building embedded applications like Office add-ins or browser extensions.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Background in shipping products integrated with AI or LLM systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 integrations.
