What you will do

• Design, build, and operate backend systems that power Workspace Agents in ChatGPT for enterprise organizations.
• Develop core infrastructure to make agents more reliable, configurable, and extensible in real workplace environments.
• Build systems connecting agentic experiences to enterprise context, workflows, and tools.
• Address technical challenges in agent orchestration, backend APIs, and workspace-scale systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, and research stakeholders to translate model insights into scalable product capabilities.
• Shape the technical direction of a high-priority product area central to hirify.global’s enterprise strategy.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional backend engineering experience, preferably in product-driven or infrastructure-heavy environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or similar backend languages.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, service architecture, APIs, and data modeling.
• Experience building scalable product systems for complex workflows or enterprise customers.
• Ability to drive outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving settings with high ownership.
• Must be based in San Francisco
