Salary: $102,100 – $219,200 per year (range varies by location).

What you will do

• Build and evolve components of the maps rendering pipeline, including tile generation and data processing.
• Develop features to improve map quality, performance, and responsiveness across platforms.
• Work with large-scale geospatial datasets to deliver accurate and consistent experiences.
• Contribute to systems that make spatial data accessible for AI-driven experiences.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and observability of services, participating in on-call rotations.
• Debug and resolve complex issues across distributed systems and data pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in coding with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Ability to meet hirify.global Cloud background check and security screening requirements.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience with distributed systems, high-availability services, or rendering technologies.
• Must be able to work from the office at least four days per week.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.
• Familiarity with maps, geospatial systems, or spatial data concepts.
• Interest or experience in AI/ML or LLM-powered applications.
