TL;DR

Legal Engineer - Product Specialist (AI): Driving the adoption and integration of AI legal tools into professional workflows with an accent on customer success and strategic enablement. Focus on translating complex legal practice needs into product requirements and building high-level relationships with law firm partners.

Location: Must be based in New York

Salary: $210,000 – $300,000 USD (Offers Equity)

What you will do

  • Build trusted relationships with law firm and in-house legal teams to incorporate AI into their daily practice.
  • Design and lead onboarding sessions, training workshops, and enablement programs to maximize platform value.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives to identify expansion and renewal opportunities.
  • Translate legal practice needs into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams to shape development.
  • Monitor usage trends to identify at-risk accounts and develop strategies to re-engage users.
  • Create customer-facing content including training materials and use case guides.

Requirements

  • JD or equivalent legal qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm (Vault 50 or equivalent).
  • Location: Must be based in New York.
  • Strong executive engagement, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of legal processes and challenges faced by legal professionals.
  • Curiosity about AI's potential to transform the legal industry.

Nice to have

  • Experience in sales or customer-facing roles, including law firm business development or secondments.
  • Experience directly managing law firm client matters and relationships.
