TL;DR
Software Development Manager (SaaS/Monetization): Building a multi-product, multi-region monetization platform with an accent on technical leadership and scaling billing systems. Location: Must be based in Canada within PST or MST timezones. Hybrid setup for those near Vancouver, Burnaby, or Calgary (min 2 days/week in office).
Salary: $176,000 – $264,000 CAD

What you will do
- Lead the CBS Monetization team in building a scalable, multi-product, multi-region billing platform.
- Collaborate with Rev-ops, Sales-ops, Marketing, and Finance to define and deliver high-impact revenue projects.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership by designing, reviewing, and coding alongside the team.
- Mentor direct reports and guide their career growth through effective 1:1s and coaching.
- Integrate AI tools and methodologies into every step of the project and development lifecycle.
- Drive hiring and interviewing processes to attract and retain top engineering talent.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in people leadership for large-scale SaaS products.
- Strong background in hands-on software development.
- Must be based in Canada within PST or MST timezones.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience hiring and developing high-performing engineering teams.
- Growth mindset regarding process improvement and the application of AI.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Knowledge of quoting, subscriptions, and billing systems at scale.
- Experience with Stripe Billing or Salesforce integration.
- Background in product management or business analysis.
