Salary: $200,000 – $260,000 USD (Offers Equity)

What you will do

• Design and build production systems end-to-end across frontend applications, backend services, and APIs.
• Develop new vertical product capabilities involving document ingestion, workflow orchestration, and agent frameworks.
• Build and operate data-intensive systems, including ETL pipelines, analytical data models, and serving layers.
• Define service boundaries, schema design, and system architecture for new product areas with an emphasis on reliability.
• Partner directly with customers to map domain-specific workflows into technical designs and iterate rapidly.
• Build evaluation, monitoring, and feedback systems to measure product quality in production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production software with meaningful ownership from concept to launch.
• Strong engineering fundamentals across backend systems, APIs, data modeling, and modern frontend stacks.
• Experience with data pipelines, analytical systems, or document-heavy workflows (ETL, schema design).
• Experience building AI-powered applications, such as retrieval systems, agentic workflows, or orchestration layers.
• Must be able to collaborate in person with teammates in New York.
• Strong product sense and ability to translate ambiguous user needs into thoughtful technical designs.
