Principal Demo Engineer (AI/Fullstack): Building and owning the platform and tooling that powers all Fin AI demos with an accent on reliability, multi-tenant environments, and AI-driven configuration. Focus on creating scalable demo infrastructure, integrating LLMs/RAG, and developing tools to enable Solutions Engineers to deploy complex scenarios rapidly.

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California (minimum 3 days per week in office)

What you will do

• Own the Fin demo platform end-to-end, including multi-tenant mock workspaces, seeded data, and reset infrastructure.
• Develop first-class demo features and UI/workflows within the Fin product to streamline demo setup for SEs.
• Leverage LLMs and AI agents to research prospects and auto-configure vertical-specific demos.
• Build libraries, templates, and scripting hooks for Solutions Engineers to compose complex scenarios with guardrails.
• Ensure demo consistency across all surfaces, including Web Messenger, mobile SDKs, voice, email, and Slack.
• Collaborate with Product, PMM, and Enablement teams to design training materials and demo libraries for new releases.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, DevRel, or as a Founding Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM products, including RAG, tool use, agents, and evaluations.
• Strong full-stack proficiency in TypeScript and at least one backend language (Ruby, Go, or Python).
• Deep familiarity with building and integrating RESTful APIs, SDKs, and SaaS wrappers.
• Proven ability to use agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) to significantly increase productivity.
• Must be based in or able to work from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Nice to have

• Background in customer support, contact center, or CX tooling.
• Experience building large-scale internal platforms or developer tooling.
• Experience managing multi-tenant sandbox environments with synthetic or anonymized data.
• Prior experience bridging the gap between engineering and revenue (e.g., lighthouse deals).
