What you will do

• Lead a growing engineering team focused on hirify.global's payments, capital, and financial services portfolio.
• Guide the technical strategy for launching new financial services in North America and internationally.
• Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with engineering managers and individual contributors.
• Partner with Product Management and Product Design to envision and execute the product roadmap.
• Perform hands-on technical work, including coding, designing, and reviewing alongside the team.
• Collaborate with the Recruiting and People teams to hire top engineering talent.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an engineering leader with a background in fintech, specifically in payments and financial services.
• Track record in scaling services and systems for high-growth environments.
• Experience running agile organizations at scale with a focus on quality delivery.
• Adept at crafting long-term strategies and managing technical roadmaps.
• Must be based in Toronto and able to work from the office at least two days per week.
• Growth mindset regarding process improvement and new technologies, especially AI.
