Compensation: $160,000 – $230,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own the full AI engineering lifecycle from design and prompt engineering to deployment and optimization.
• Build enterprise-grade context engineering including function calling, tool schemas, and agent teams.
• Design and execute evaluation harnesses, creating golden sets and metrics to drive performance improvements.
• Partner with product and infrastructure teams to translate customer problems into production-ready experiments.
• Develop agentic workflows and coding harnesses for core database engine products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience shipping AI features in production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Go.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in high-powered engineering teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Deep experience with agentic coding tools and intuition for model failure modes.
• Background in data engineering pipelines (dbt, Airflow) and retrieval systems (RAG).
• Prior work on LLM observability, safety guardrails, or production evaluation harnesses.
