TL;DR
Principal Business Intelligence Specialist (Tableau/Snowflake): Shaping how data is transformed into trusted reporting and decision-making for the RuneScape ecosystem with an accent on reporting quality, consistency, and governance. Focus on designing scalable reporting solutions, establishing KPI frameworks, and aligning data products across Finance, Commercial, and Product teams.
Location: Hybrid (Cambridge, UK). Applicants should be based in or willing to relocate to within a comfortable commuting distance of the office.

What you will do
- Lead the BI function, setting high standards for reporting quality, consistency, and governance.
- Own the roadmap for dashboards and reporting products across commercial, finance, product, and operational teams.
- Translate business challenges into clear metrics and analytical frameworks to support decision-making.
- Design and oversee scalable reporting solutions using Tableau and Periscope, backed by Snowflake data models.
- Establish KPI definitions and validation processes to ensure a single source of truth across the organization.
- Partner with Data Engineering to improve upstream data structures and transformation logic.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a hands-on technical BI professional capable of communicating insights to stakeholders.
- Deep expertise with Tableau and/or Periscope, including dashboard design and performance optimization.
- Strong experience working with Snowflake and modern analytical data models.
- Solid understanding of GitHub-based development workflows and version control.
- Experience defining KPIs and executive reporting frameworks.
- Must be based in or be able to relocate to the United Kingdom to attend the Cambridge office as required.
