Location: Must have an active bar license in the State of CA. Flexible work model: remote, hybrid, or onsite in San Diego, CA.

Salary: $115,000 – $160,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop result-driven case strategies to counter emotional arguments and drive results.
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials.
• Manage a full caseload independently from the discovery phase through to trial.
• Maintain professional communication and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with legal staff and provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar license in the state of CA.
• 1–8 years of solid litigation experience, including case strategy and trial preparation.
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Prior insurance defense experience.
• Familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems.
