What you will do

• Lead the development of methodologies and KPIs to measure quality, cost efficiency, and business relevance of behavior evaluation solutions.
• Influence the portfolio of evaluation signals used by software engineers to ensure positive impacts on the hirify.global Driver.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify performance bottlenecks and prototype improvements in metrics, sampling strategy, and statistical inference.
• Develop strategies for evaluating trade-offs and provide actionable insights for designing launch criteria.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build scalable solutions for assessing the evaluation portfolio.
• Establish feedback loops to surface insights on evaluation quality to stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Physics).
• PhD with 5+ years of industry experience OR 7+ years of industry experience solving data science problems.
• Solid statistical background with expertise in experimentation design and causal inference, and familiarity with ML systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis libraries and packages in Python, R, and/or SQL.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage a high surface area across organizations.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into clear technical solutions.

Nice to have

• PhD in a quantitative field.
• Experience developing production-grade software and tools.
• Track record as a technical lead for a broad data science area.
• Experience with large-scale evaluation frameworks or ML data platforms.
• Experience solving problems related to Autonomous Driving or Ride Hailing.
