What you will do

• Lead systems engineering for automotive diagnostics and fault management systems.
• Define requirements for the diagnostic system and develop validation strategies.
• Collaborate with software development teams at Latitude and Ford to create designs.
• Develop and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP) on benches, simulators, and vehicles.
• Perform hands-on validation of designs with the actual product.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Computer, Electrical Engineering, CS, Robotics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master's + 2 years / PhD).
• Experience working in automotive or robotics engineering.
• Proven experience writing requirements and validation plans.
• Expertise in automotive diagnostics.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree with a focus in control theory.
• Familiarity with model-based systems engineering tools (e.g., MagicDraw).
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jama).
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or other programming skills.
• Experience with autonomous vehicle testing.
