What you will do

• Own and manage relationships with global logistics service providers, including freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PLs.
• Lead RFP processes, contract negotiations, and SLA development for new and existing partners.
• Develop and execute global transportation strategies for air and ground freight lanes to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate product classifications (HTS/HS codes) and manage customs clearance and trade compliance.
• Analyze freight spend and implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising service levels.
• Monitor global regulatory changes such as USMCA and EU trade regulations to update internal procedures.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in global logistics, supply chain, or international trade.
• Proven track record managing third-party logistics providers and carrier relationships at a global scale.
• Working knowledge of import/export regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Must be comfortable working remotely across different time zones and cultures.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
• Certifications such as APICS CSCP, CSCMP, or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS).
• Experience with SFDC, Dynamics 365, or similar enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with trade compliance software.
