What you will do

• Act as the internal authority for HTS and ECCN classifications, assessing the impact of engineering changes on compliance.
• Manage export licenses through SNAP-R and D-Trade systems.
• Partner with the Go-To-Market team to identify regulatory requirements and duty-saving opportunities for new territories.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes to ensure accurate Country of Origin determinations.
• Audit shipping documentation to ensure seamless transit of electronic components and finished goods.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Trade Compliance, specifically within Hardware, Marine Electronics, or Robotics.
• Deep understanding of ITAR and EAR regulations, including the Commerce Control List and U.S. Munitions List.
• Proven ability to perform HTS reengineering and analyze hardware components.
• Ability to translate a Bill of Materials into a comprehensive compliance strategy.
• Proficiency in modern collaboration tools like Notion and Slack.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
