TL;DR

Salary: $200,000 - $275,000

What you will do

  • Lead a high-performing backend engineering team utilizing Kotlin and Python.
  • Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Design, and Operations to develop a technical roadmap that meets business needs.
  • Coach, develop, and provide thoughtful feedback to team members to ensure growth and retention.
  • Maintain a high technical bar with a focus on simplicity and system longevity.
  • Foster a team culture centered around innovation, accountability, empathy, and execution.
  • Align with other engineering leaders across the organization to ensure strategic coherence.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of overall Engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of Engineering Management or Leadership experience.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Proven track record of successfully architecting, building, and scaling financial products.
  • Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with card networks.
