Credit Underwriter (Fintech)

hirify.global is building the modern payments infrastructure for the trucking and logistics industry, aiming to streamline capital movement for fleet managers and drivers.

Location: Must have prior U.S. underwriting experience and be available to work until 3 PM PST.

Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 + Equity + Bonus

What you will do

• Review and analyze new customer applications, including financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports.
• Assess the creditworthiness of businesses and individual applicants.
• Evaluate risk, write clear lending decisions, and determine fuel card terms.
• Manage large queues of onboarding and ongoing risk reviews.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of credit underwriting experience with strong financial and credit analysis skills.
• 1–2 years of previous underwriting experience specifically within a U.S. fintech is mandatory.
• Must be available to work until 3 PM PST.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate risk decisions clearly.
