What you will do

• Provide expert investment advice to DB pension scheme trustees to deliver innovative and tailored solutions.
• Conduct bespoke investment strategy analysis and risk modelling, including journey planning and dynamic de-risking trigger design.
• Design and construct portfolios, providing detailed reporting to support decisions on risk and asset allocation.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to agree upon and implement mandate investment guidelines.
• Own and oversee multi-asset mandates for DB pension schemes, managing performance against liability-driven benchmarks.
• Ensure the delivery of positive client outcomes in accordance with Consumer Duty requirements.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the defined benefit (DB) pension scheme investment environment and trustee decision-making processes.
• Strong knowledge of all major asset classes, including derivatives and LDI.
• Proven experience working with pension scheme trustees in a consultancy or advisory context.
• Experience in setting investment strategies and performing portfolio construction within a multi-asset framework.
• Practical experience with asset-liability modelling.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid capacity in London.

Nice to have

• Experience providing fiduciary management services to UK DB pension schemes.
• Hands-on multi-asset or LDI investment management experience.
