TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam (office attendance required 2 days per week)

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a team of iOS developers, fostering a collaborative and positive team atmosphere.
  • Split time between people leadership (40%) and senior engineering contributions (60%).
  • Partner with the iOS Tech Lead to maintain technical excellence across the platform.
  • Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and other engineers in a deeply collaborative environment.
  • Proactively improve the app's maintainability, resiliency, and extensibility while addressing technical debt.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading and mentoring engineers to help them grow and thrive.
  • Strong iOS development background with proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C.
  • In-depth knowledge of UIKit and SwiftUI for building complex user interfaces.
  • Experience with multithreading (GCD, Combine, Swift Concurrency) and Swift Package Manager.
  • Expertise in optimizing performance and memory using Xcode instruments.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Amsterdam office to meet hybrid requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane and GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools like Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex to improve development efficiency.
