Technology Manager Payments

Location: The Hague, Netherlands; hybrid working.

Salary: €8,446–€11,262 per month based on 40 hours per week, depending on knowledge and experience; 13th month and holiday allowance are paid monthly.

What you will do

• Build and manage a team of around 20 software developers, information analysts, and quality assurance engineers, fostering ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Translate Payments domain goals into a technology roadmap and change portfolio aligned with bank and NN Group technology guardrails.
• Own the complete technology lifecycle and end-to-end management of Payments products, ensuring 24/7 availability, performance, stability, and quality.
• Identify long-term staffing needs and align team skills and capabilities with emerging technologies.
• Manage IT vendors and stakeholders, including vendor SLA compliance, prioritisation, expectation management, and business needs analysis.
• Drive cybersecurity, resilience, risk management, regulatory compliance including DORA, and leadership during emergencies to minimise business disruption.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of technology management experience in the Dutch banking industry.
• Proven experience in end-to-end IT operations and managing reliable, high-performance 24/7 value chains.
• Strong understanding of Daily Banking IT requirements, including IT risk management, control frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Extensive experience in IT vendor management, SaaS deployment, and SLA performance monitoring.
• Experience defining actionable technology roadmaps with clear deliverables.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders across business, technology, risk, and vendors.
• Management skills to inspire and develop teams and deliver strong results.
