Technology Manager Payments (Fintech)

Location: The Hague, Netherlands; hybrid working

Salary: €8,446–€11,262 per month based on 40 hours per week, plus a 13th month and holiday allowance.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end technology management for the Daily Banking Payments domain.
• Build and manage a team of approximately 20 software developers, information analysts, and quality assurance engineers.
• Translate Payments domain goals into technology roadmaps and change portfolios aligned with bank and group technology guardrails.
• Manage products and 24/7 value chains, ensuring availability, performance, stability, quality, and delivery against business needs.
• Manage IT vendors and stakeholders, including SLA compliance, prioritisation, and expectation management.
• Drive cybersecurity, resilience, risk management, regulatory compliance, and emergency leadership, including compliance with DORA.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of technology management experience in the Dutch banking industry.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end IT operations and reliable, high-performance 24/7 value chains.
• Strong understanding of daily banking processes, IT risk management, control frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Extensive experience with IT vendor management, SaaS deployment, and SLA performance monitoring.
• Strong people-management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams and deliver results.
• Strategic, communication, and stakeholder-management skills for working with business, technology, risk, and vendor stakeholders.
