Cloud Unit Lead

Location: Hybrid in Rotterdam, Netherlands

hirify.global develops multi-cloud and private cloud software offerings within the Siemens cloud software ecosystem.

What you will do

• Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for hirify.global Multi-Cloud offerings.
• Build and manage the Cloud Unit across engineering, design, product management, and program management.
• Drive collaboration across the Siemens cloud software ecosystem and strategic AWS and Azure partnerships.
• Represent hirify.global Cloud and Private Cloud solutions to Siemens product units.
• Partner with marketing and sales on positioning and field enablement for cloud offerings.
• Manage on-call rotations, outages, escalations, and service-level performance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and product development with demonstrated leadership impact.
• 5+ years leading cloud operations, DevOps, or SRE organizations.
• Proven experience meeting service-level agreements and non-functional requirements for availability, reliability, performance, and resilience.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native software development and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Fluent English and German or Dutch as a secondary language.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP, including the IaaS/PaaS competitive landscape.

Nice to have

• Foundational knowledge of AI, machine learning, and Generative AI applications in software engineering and cloud operations.
