Location: Remote in Canada; flexible working hours across North America.

What you will do
- Lead UX design across SpryCIS product squads alongside a Staff Designer.
- Collaborate with product owners and engineers in triads to shape solutions and advocate for users.
- Translate complex utility workflows and product requirements into clear, usable experiences.
- Apply visual design craft, including typography, hierarchy, and spacing, to data-dense interfaces.
- Conduct user research and usability testing with utility professionals.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes; participate in design critiques and mentor junior designers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of UX design experience and a portfolio demonstrating design thinking.
- Experience leading design for a product area and owning both the process and output.
- Strong visual craft applied to functional software, especially complex or workflow-heavy interfaces.
- Ability to collaborate with product and engineering, influence stakeholders, and resolve competing priorities.
- Understanding of interaction design and information architecture for task-heavy interfaces.
- Proficiency in Figma and other design and prototyping tools; ability to use analytics, usage patterns, and customer feedback in design decisions.

- Experience with enterprise SaaS, workflow-heavy, or data-dense products.

Hiring process
