Product Owner (AI)

Location: Remote within Ontario or Québec, Canada; based in Montreal or Toronto. Québec-based candidates must be fluent in English to collaborate with teams across the Americas and occasionally Europe.

Salary: 100,000–145,000 CAD annually, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Define product vision and align hirify.global teams and client stakeholders around strategic direction.
• Lead discovery and delivery through prioritized roadmaps, backlogs, and outcome-focused decisions.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and communicate product trade-offs at executive level.
• Champion practical AI tooling across research, requirements, documentation, development, reporting, and delivery.
• Identify delivery, alignment, and commercial risks, propose mitigations, and support account expansion.
• Mentor junior product and delivery professionals and contribute to the Product Practice.

Requirements

• Senior Product Manager experience in a digital consultancy or agency, leading complex client engagements.
• 10+ years of experience with product delivery, strategic leadership, and stakeholder alignment.
• Experience owning product roadmaps and backlogs, prioritizing trade-offs, and managing ambiguity.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools applied to the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile delivery, consulting, SOW management, budget health, revenue, and margin considerations.
• English fluency is required for Québec-based candidates; French proficiency, including conversational and written communication, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience developing others through mentorship, line management, or team leadership.
• Strong curiosity about emerging AI technologies and their impact on digital product development.
