What you will do

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of customer software license, SaaS, partner, and vendor agreements.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations to optimize deal strategy and execution.
• Establish and scale contracting frameworks, templates, and playbooks to improve deal velocity.
• Act as a key legal advisor on data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), AI, and cybersecurity matters within commercial contracts.
• Manage external counsel relationships to ensure prioritization and efficient resource use.
• Support broader legal needs including employment law, corporate governance, and compliance.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• 8–12+ years of legal experience with a heavy focus on commercial contracting.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating complex SaaS or software agreements in high-growth tech environments.
• Familiarity with major privacy frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
• Experience negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and AI-related contractual terms.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (E-Verify employer).
