Financial Accountant (Fintech)

Financial Accountant (Fintech): Responsible for the day-to-day operational accounting of the Monaco entity on a remote basis, as well as broader Group-level support for international operations. Focus on delivering technically sound, accurate financial outputs through a strong control framework and driving improvements in financial efficiency.

Location: Based in either London, Reading or Manchester offices.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day accounting for the Monaco entity, including journals and month-end close tasks.
• Manage financial accounting in the local Monaco ERP and upload results into the hirify.global ERP.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal controls and IFRS reporting requirements.
• Deliver weekly trading data to the shareholder and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve reporting.
• Support internal and external audits and contribute to projects and process improvements.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g, Workday) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• French language skills (written and spoken), given the role's focus on our Monaco entity.
