Finance Analyst (Business Finance)

TL;DR

Finance Analyst (Business Finance): Partnering with business stakeholders to analyze financial performance and drive value within the Customer Service Group with an accent on commercial insight and cost efficiency. Focus on delivering actionable analysis, managing rolling forecasts, and optimizing financial performance for call centers and engineers.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office in Dunfermline). Must have the appropriate right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do

• Build strong business partnering relationships with management to act as a trusted advisor.
• Deliver high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and financial mentorship.
• Provide detailed recommendations for commercial deals, business decisions, and investment appraisals.
• Manage financial planning, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, and strategic long-range plans.
• Interpret monthly results and drive actionable improvements based on management accounts.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities within the assigned business area.

Requirements

• ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or CPA qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
• Proven communication skills through business partnering or client relationship management.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills using Microsoft Excel and experience creating presentations in PowerPoint.
• Capability to handle ambiguity and provide clarity to guide decision-making.
• Strong commercial acumen when addressing complex financial problems.
