What you will do
- Plan production for injection needles based on global requirements and manage manufacturing schedules and overseas shipments.
- Collaborate with overseas sites to establish production processes and synchronize supply chain operations.
- Lead outsourcing activities to increase production capacity and improve operational efficiency.
- Propose and drive investments for necessary production equipment based on mid-term plans.
- Standardize production planning processes and implement changes for cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Manage and develop team members within the Supply Chain Management Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- At least 3 years of experience in production control or production planning.
- Proven experience managing complex stakeholder relationships in Japan, APAC, and globally.
- Ability to communicate regularly with overseas sites and work with English documentation.
- Proven people management experience.
- Location: Must be based in or able to work in Tochigi, Japan
Nice to have
- SAP experience.
- Basic knowledge of production processes, machinery, or equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
