What you will do

• Manage daily spot broking, COA, and period time-charter activities.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities based on market trends and client needs.
• Collaborate with international offices, shipowners, and charterers to deliver seamless service.
• Drive revenue growth and expand the client base within and outside the Japanese market.
• Perform market analysis and provide actionable trade ideas and insights to clients.
• Handle all necessary shipping documentation and ad hoc business requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the dry bulk shipping sector.
• Professional proficiency in Japanese is essential.
• Strong English communication skills (B2+).
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-driven, resilient, and collaborative approach to work.
